Is the freebord anything compared to snowboarding?

How hard is it to get big air off jumps, and do spins and rails and stuff?

I’ve only rode one down a hill, and didn’t try anything much.. from what I did get to do though, it felt VERY similar to snowboarding (as far as turning )
