How to snowboard on a black diamond course?

Just purchased and assembled all the gear I need, from board, to binding, to boots, to jacket, gloves, pants, helmet, and goggles. I can competently snowboard everything less advanced than a black diamond, but have never attempted it for fear of lack of know-how. Tips, hints, and thorough instructions would be greatly appreciated!

All you really need is just 2 go slow and take your time down the trail. Plus if you have confidence to do it you will be just fine.
